Dedication: to devote wholly and earnestly for a purpose.
This person embodies what it means to be dedicated and sets an excellent example
for all KHS students. This teacher is always willing to help students in
need, spending numerous hours of his personal time to improve their skills.
His willingness to help students both inside and outside of the classroom
exemplifies his devotion to KHS. At the beginning of this year, he was
awarded a $10,000 grant which stands as a testament to his dedication. In
addition to his teaching responsibilities and overseeing the production of the
morning announcements, this person also helps arrange videos for a variety of
other school activities. By teaching students to plan, shoot and edit
quality videos, we all experience the demanding tasks he faces everyday at his
job. Our mornings would not get off to such an upbeat start without his
efforts. This person has directly or indirectly influenced every student
at Kennett High School in some way. It is with great pleasure that we
announce this year's 2011 Kennetteer dedication to
Mr. Vanderslice.
