When we asked around, compassion was the one word many chose to describe this person.
This teacher
’s consistently kind spirit and
demeanor has won the hearts of many of her students and created a more positive
experience in the classroom. Starting from the first day of freshman year
in a new, intimidating environment, she immediately calmed our nerves.
Later, her classes allowed us to express our thoughts about classic woks through
lively discussions. She made sometimes complex literature more accessible
by relating it to our every day lives. From English class to 1960
’s
Seminar with Mr. Duffy, graduating students will remember this teacher for her
forgiving, easy going, and understanding nature. For these reasons, the
2009 Kennetteer is proudly dedicated to Mrs. Christine Wilson.
