In the tradition of so many other hall-prowling, cafeteria-observing teachers,
Mr. Armstrong fits the mold of the kind of teacher that commands the respect of
students. His sharp wit is welcomed by the inner circle of senior boys and
his sharp coaching has brought success to many a basketball team. His
amazing ability to control his voice
— telling someone he
’s
failed (You flunked, John)
— is
unmatched in monotony. We of the Class of
’72 are proud and happy to
dedicate this book to him.
