Kennett High School, Class of 1965

It is in high school that we first learn to discipline ourselves toward the achievement of a goal.  Our experimental efforts sometimes fail; the way is at first unknown.  The path is often lighted through the wisdom and encouragement of a friend.  Then we experience our first thrill of accomplishment.

Mr. Webb, the students of Kennett High School have known and respected you as a teacher, a coach, an administrator.  But, we are most thankful to you for the sincere encouragement and guidance you have offered as a friend.  In grateful acknowledgement of your help and interest, we, the Class of 1965, dedicate this Kennetteer to you.
