Stephanie (Rossi) Crofts, 67, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 15, 2014.
Ms. Crofts was born on Feb. 8, 1947, in Philadelphia to Stephen and Carmella Rossi. She moved to Tucson in 1976 and lived on and off in the state since that time, most recently in Casa Grande. She had many interesting jobs. One, in the medical imaging field, was a position with a large hospital in London transcribing radiologic reports.
Before she retired, she was a paraprofessional for the Coolidge Unified School District and more recently at Mesquite Elementary School in Casa Grande. She took great pride in helping the students achieve their goals. She loved to dance and when living in Tucson was an active member of an Egyptian dance class, which put on shows for the elderly. She was cheerful and always had a smile.
She is survived by her brother, Stephen Rossi of Tomball, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carmella Rossi, father, Stephen Rossi, brother, Jeffrey Rossi, and Samuel Meadows, a longtime companion.
Interment services will be conducted in Tomball.
