Robert L. Arnold, Sr., of Nottingham, age 62, on March 2, 2009, passed away at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Patricia A. Summers Arnold with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Born in West Grove, he was the son of the late Mervin and Mildred Duff Arnold, Sr.
Robert worked for P. E. Kramme, Inc. of Avondale, PA as a mechanic and truck driver for 15 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of the American Legion Post 194 of Rising Sun, MD.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Arnold, 2 sons, Robert A. Jr. and Jay all of Nottingham, 6 grandchildren, a sister, Emma Hanna of West Grove, and 2 brothers, Mervin Arnold, Jr of West Grove, and William Arnold of York, PA. He was predeceased by 1 grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 224 Penn Avenue, Oxford, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
