Judith Thompson, May 24, 1942 ~ August 18, 2023

It hurts to lose a mom we love.  Judy Thompson, 81, of Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away in the presence of her two sons, on Friday, August 18, 2023 at her home.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth Thompson, Sr., with whom she shared 39 years of marriage before his passing.  She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lena Camorano.

Judy was a successful licensed hairdresser and cosmetologist when she was younger.

Judy enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, collecting snow people, collecting salt and pepper shakers and anything that had to do with Christmas.  She also enjoyed having breakfast and lunch with her best friends at the local restaurants, watching cooking shows and classic game shows on television, such as Match Game, Classic Concentration and Password.  She truly was a happy homebody.  God has prepared a beautiful new home for her.

Judy lived for and is survived by her sons, Timothy Thompson, of Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania, and Kenneth Thompson, Jr., of Wilmington, Delaware.  She unconditionally loved her two sons TIMES INFINITY.  She is survived by her sisters, Joanne Catalino, of Wilmington, Delaware, and Pauline Troilo, of Avondale, Pennsylvania.

No one is ever truly prepared for that moment when we realize we will never again speak with Judy or hold her close.  At first it may seem like Judy left behind an emptiness that we less understood; but in actuality she left behind very fond memories filled with smiles, laughter, joy, and stories.  We miss her so very much.  Arrangements by Kuzo Funeral Home of Kennett Square, PA.
