Jesse H. Gibson, 91, of Newark, DE, passed away at Christiana Hospital March 25, 2010 following a brief illness. Born in Havre de Grace, MD on March 27, 1918, Jesse was the son of the late Robert H. and Laura E. Gibson. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps, serving in Tunisia, Naples and Rome. Jesse is survived by three children, a daughter Elaine Rambo of Clovis, WA, a son, Robert J. Gibson of Kennett Square, PA, and a daughter Virginia L. Reimer of Pylesville, MD; six grandchildren, Rodd Rambo, Stacey Kidd, Amanda and Jessica Gibson, and Robert and Kelly Reimer; three great grandchildren, Samantha, Richard and Louella Reimer and a sister Hazel Eggers. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth, who died in 2004.
