Ruth B. MUSANTE, 86, a resident of the University Park Nursing Center, State College, formerly of 1016 Mifflin St., Huntingdon, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at 5:25 am., at the nursing center. Born Feb. 18, 1915, in Toughkenamon, Chester County, she was a daughter of the late Ellis Ellsworth Barton and Elsie (Richardson) Barton-Sill. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Charles Sill. She married John N. Musante Sr., who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, John N. Musante Jr. of Wernersville, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Musante was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, West Chester. She retired in 1978 from Penn Mutual Insurance Co. in West Chester, where she worked in the claims department as a manager. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in West Chester and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon. Graveside services will be held at the Grove Methodist Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on December 17.
